Indiana Chamber names JCBank a best place to work

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has recognized Seymour-based JCBank as a 2024 recipient of its Best Places to Work in Indiana honor.

“It is an honor to be recognized as an Indiana Chamber of Commerce 2024 Best Places to Work in Indiana recipient,” said JCBank President and CEO Marvin S. Veatch. “At JCBank, the employees are our priority, and we strive to create a culture where they are proud to be part of the JCBank team.”

In its 19th year, the program honors top organizations in the state as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. Company evaluations and the selection process are administered by Workforce Research Group.

Specific company rankings will be unveiled on May 8 at an awards dinner at the Indiana Convention Center.

JCBank is one of 62 companied selected as a medium-sized company with 75 to 249 employees. The bank founded in 1900 as Jackson County Loan and Trust Co. with assets of $25,000 now serves multiple counties and has assets of more than $925 million.

In addition to its headquarters in Seymour, JCBank has three locations in Columbus as well as branches in North Vernon, Brownstown, Greensburg, Bloomington and Bedford.
