Duncan tied for seventh in delayed Puerto Rico Open

RIO GRANDE, P.R. — Tyler Duncan is tied for seventh-place in the Puerto Rico Open, which saw its first round delayed by rain and suspended because of darkness.

Duncan was 5-under-par through 13 holes when play was suspended. Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate shot 4-under 32 on his first nine and added another birdie on the front.

Scott Piercy and Joe Highsmith each fired 7-under 65s and are tied for the lead.
