Columbus Board of Works — 10 a.m., City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus.

Princess Tea — 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Dr., Columbus. Young Royals (ages 4-12) are cordially invited to put on their finest royal attire, and join the Hamilton Center Ice Princess for a craft and skate time.

Teen Read-In — Noon to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Relax and read with teen staff for the afternoon. Snacks and bevvies provided.

Free Bartholomew County Legal Aid Phone Clinic — Noon to 5:30 p.m. Individuals calling can expect to receive a brief phone consultation. Individuals seeking legal consultation must register by calling Legal Aid at 812-378-0358 between noon and 2 p.m. A volunteer attorney will return calls to registered individuals between 3 and 5:30 p.m.

Chair Yoga — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us for a one-hour session with certified yoga and chair yoga instructor. These sessions are great for beginners and those who want to focus on gentle practice.

Spring Break Skates — 1 to 3 p.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Dr., Columbus. March 12’s theme is Hawaiian. Subject to open skate pricing.

Beginning Again — 2 to 3:30 p.m., or 5:30 to 7 p.m., Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 17th St., Columbus. Beginning Again Group is for anyone who has lost a family member. Evening Star Quilt Guild — 5:30 to 7 p.m., Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus. Join the Evening Star Quilt Guild, a group of women who enjoy creating traditional and modern art quilts, while learning new methods. On March 12, there will be two speakers. Lisa Dodson will show her art, explain why many quilters shop at art and craft stores to find quilting supplies and why art quilts are gaining in popularity and acceptance throughout the world. Monica Kindraka Jensen will present her “Garlic Series,” discussing what she learned from each of the heads of garlic.
