David Allen Pierce, 58 of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday March 13, 2024.
Born September 25, 1965 in Columbus David was the son of Windell Pierce and Mona Saltsman Pierce. He married Waunita Froedge May 17, 2003 and she survives.
David enjoyed woodworking, jigsaw puzzles and watching movies. He had previously been employed as a contractor and plumber.
David is survived by his wife Waunita of Taylorsville; his mother, Mona of Taylorsville; children, Amanda (Jon) Rader of Columbus and Justin Pierce of the Chicago area; grandchildren, Adalynn and Abigail Rader of Columbus; sisters, Teresa (Dan) Cardinal of Columbus and Karen Porter of Columbus.
There will be a funeral service for David on Wednesday March 20 at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. It will be officiated by Daniel Bragg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be directed to Norman Funeral Home to help defray his funeral expenses.
David was preceded in death by his father, Windell and a grandson, Jase Rader.
