National Weather Service predicting hard freeze overnight into Monday morning

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The National Weather Service is forecasting freezing temperatures that are expected across central Indiana tonight.Low temperatures tonight are expected to fall below freezing with lows reaching the middle to upper 20s by Monday morning, resulting in a hard freeze. The official growing season has not yet begun.However recent warm weather has resulted in some scattered growth of plants. A hard freeze on early Monday morning will damage, kill or stunt the growth of these plants.If you have agricultural interests, take measures to protect these plants or bring them indoors.
