Clark, Crimson Pride beat Wright State Lake Campus

Casper Clark picked up his first pitching win of the season Tuesday in IU Columbusā€˜ 6-1 baseball victory against Wright State Lake Campus.

Clark, a junior from Columbus North and transfer from Indiana University and John A. Logan College, pitched the first four innings and allowed one run on two hits. He struck out five and walked only one.

Wyatt Sutton went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs for the Crimson Pride. Alec Beatty went 2 for 2, and Brevin Barker went 2 for 4.

IUC (9-23), which snapped a four-game losing streak, visits Grace Christian at 1 p.m. today, then returns home to host IU Kokomo for a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday, both days starting at 1 p.m. at Ceraland.
