SHELBYVILLE — Hauser opened its baseball season Wednesday with as 12-1, five-inning loss at Shelbyville.
The Golden Bears scored four times in the first and five in the second off Jets starter Holden Pittman. Pittman and Simeon Wasil combined on a five-hitter.
Hauser was held without a hit. Kam Blair knocked in Stryker Gill with a sacrifice fly for the Jets’ lone run.
