EDINBURGH — Madison pulled out a three-set win at No. 1 doubles Friday to claim a 3-2 season-opening girls tennis victory at Edinburgh.
Jessica Walsh beat Sandra Corrales Maya 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Izzy Richardson topped Claire Slygh 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles for the Lancers.
Edinburgh’s Zoey Sida fell to Ruby Willoughby 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Lily Turner and Mia Dodson lost to Alexa Davis and Bridgett Boles 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Bella Turner and Gracie Lawson fell to Peighton Mundt and Olivia Scroggins 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
