The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for late Friday through Saturday morning for much of central Indiana, including Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings and Johnson counties.
Subfreezing temperatures as low as 26 degrees are possible. from late Friday night through Saturday morning.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
