NORTH VERNON — Kenzie Matern, Abby McDonald and Arian Day combined on a one-hitter in Jennings County’s 20-0, five-inning softball win against Bloomington North on Thursday.
Riley Byford went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, and Claire Hack went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and four RBIs to lead a 17-hit attack for the Panthers (3-2). Alexis Carson went 2 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs, Jillian Brauer went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and Maycie Ward went 2 for 4 with a double.
