Central Middle School eighth-grader Lizzy Frazier’s essay was selected by Indiana Auditor Suzanne Crouch as the eighth-grade winner of the first Hoosier Heroines Essay Contest. The contest was a celebration of Women’s History Month, where students in grades six to nine were invited to write essays about their heroines.

Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation allocated more than $85,000 to fund a variety of community and hospital health-related programs, including nearly $50,000 to Healthy Communities Initiatives Action Teams.
