COLUMBUS
Richard David Stuckey, 82, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:37 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Stuckey was born December 31, 1941, in Washington, Indiana, the son of Russel D. and Norma L. Vance Stuckey.
He married Marsha Kay Wallace October 9, 1960.
Mr. Stuckey retired from Marvin Johnson and Associates in 2007, after several years of service.
He was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church and enjoyed Purdue Basketball and NASCAR, he also loved working in his woodshop and creating things for his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha of 63 years; daughter, Robin (Greg) Kiel of Columbus; grandchildren, Kyle (Angela) Stuckey, Nick (Stephanie) Stuckey, Drew (Ali) Kiel, Mallory (Caleb) Blackburn and Sydney (David Evans) Kiel; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor Lawyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Todd Stuckey and a brother, Dean Stuckey.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev Charles Aigner officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 11:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral.
He will be laid to rest at the Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
