Flood warning to continue through weekend in Bartholomew County

A flood warning for area rivers now is continuing through Monday night.

Driftwood River near Edinburgh.

At 10:30 a.m. Friday the stage was 13.2 feet.

The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 a.m. Friday was 13.2 feet.

The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.9 feet just after midnight Friday. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.

Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Flatrock River near Columbus

Flood warning for the Flatrock is now in effect until midnight Friday.

At 10:30 a.m. Friday, the stage was 11.0 feet.

The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 a.m. Friday was 11.3 feet.

The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.1 feet Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening.

Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

East Fork  White River at Columbus

Flood warning is in effect to late Sunday morning.

At 11 a.m. Friday, the stage was 8.7 feet.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday evening to a crest of 9.4 feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening.

Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
