North, East, Hauser, IUC events postponed, rescheduled

Most of today’s sporting events involving Bartholomew County schools have been postponed, and some events that have been rained out the past few days have been rescheduled.

Columbus North’s softball game against Roncalli scheduled for today has been postponed, with a makeup date not yet determined. The Bull Dogs have rescheduled their softball game against Shelbyville for May 10. North also has rescheduled baseball games against Bloomington North for April 24, at Jeffersonville for April 30, vs. East Central for May 1 and vs. Bedford North Lawrence for May 2; and girls tennis matches at Center Grove for April 24, at Floyd Central for May 2 and at Lawrenceburg for May 4. Also, the North baseball doubleheader Saturday at Silver Creek has been moved up to a 10 a.m. start.

Hauser’s baseball and softball home games against North Decatur scheduled for today have been postponed. The softball doubleheader will be made up April 24 at Hauser, and the baseball doubleheader will be May 4 at North Decatur.

Columbus East’s softball game scheduled for Saturday at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) has been moved to East. Also, instead of visiting Franklin Saturday, the Olympians baseball team will host Greensburg at 10:30 a.m.

Also, the IU Columbus softball games that had been scheduled for today against IU Southeast have been moved to Wednesday.
