JEFFERSONVILLE — Jennings County pushed across a run in the top of the 11th inning Friday to pull out a 2-1 Hoosier Hills Conference softball win at Jeffersonville.
Riley Byford and Jillian Brauer each went 2 for 5 for the Panthers (5-5, 1-0). Kenzie Matern, who pitched the first nine innings, and Brauer, who threw the final two to pick up the win, combined on a seven-hitter with 10 strikeouts.
