SELLERSBURG — Columbus North cruised to a 7-1 win in Saturday’s first game before taking its first loss of the season, a 3-1 defeat at Silver Creek in the second game of a baseball doublehader.
Connor Hensley threw a five-hitter and did not allow an earned run in the opener. Dillon James went 3 for 4 with a double, and Brock Kintner went 2 for 4.
The Bull Dogs (4-1) were held to four hits in the second game, including a double by Zach McLean. McLean and Ryan Rayburn combined on a six-hitter.
