SEYMOUR — Kenzie Matern threw a five-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and went 2 for 5 with a double and three RBIs at the plate Monday to lead Jennings County to a 16-0 softball win at Trinity Lutheran.
Claire Hack went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs for the Panthers (6-6). Jillian Brauer went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, Alexis Carson went 2 for 4 with a double and Kate Treadway had two RBIs.
The Cougars (6-2) were plagued by eight errors.
