NOBLESVILLE — One day after knocking off Class 4A No. 3 Floyd Central, Columbus North upset another highly-ranked baseball team, pulling out a 6-3, eight-inning victory at 4A No. 4 Noblesville on Saturday.

The Millers tied the game in the bottom of the seventh, but Dillon James’ three-run, bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth gave the Bull Dogs (8-1) the victory.

Joey Fry pitched 1 2/3 innings of hitless innings to earn the win in relief of starter Blake Osbourne. Osbourne allowed six hits and two earned runs and struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings.
