Bartholomew County
Hooks and Needles Meetup — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. All types of needle crafters are invited to gather, create and socialize. Come hang out, share your project and ideas, or learn a new craft.
Family Fun on the Farm — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Historic Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W, Edinburgh, join the Bartholomew County Historical Society for its annual Free Family Fun on the Farm event. Experience life on a farm in the early 1900s. Steam engines, Hit-and-Miss engines, Pull-The-Wagon, historic games, textiles – spinning and weaving, beekeeping, blacksmithing, historic music, candle making, Simmons One Room Schoolhouse and Yellow Trail Museum, and crafts. HutchFest — 5:30 to 11 p.m., The Crump, downtown Columbus, music festival named after Hutch Schumaker, a local legend for supporting the community and the arts. Funds raised for this event will support the Crump Theatre, Landmark Columbus Foundation, and the Miller House and Garden, $10 at the door.
