RUSHVILLE — Edinburgh pulled out a three-set win at No. 2 singles Monday to claim a 3-2 girls tennis victory at Rushville.
Jessica Walsh beat Megan Alexander 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Izzy Richardson topped Lanea Adams 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Zoey Sida defeated Brooke Meanx 7-6 (3), 6-3 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (2-5).
Edinburgh’s Mia Dodson and Lily Turner fell to Cora Morgan and Izzy Simmerman 6-7 (3), 6-3, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. Bella Turner and Gracie Lawson lost to Emilia Eade and Karigan Cox 6-3, 6-7, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
