BLOOMINGTON — Brown County pulled out a three-set win at No. 1 doubles Wednesday to claim a 3-2 girls tennis victory at Bloomington South.
Anna Tipton beat Brooke Liao 7-6 (4), 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Julia Burt topped Hannah Vaudender 6-2, 7-5 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (10-3). Ava Kelly and Cady Kemp defeated Abby Arthur and Carla Dementer 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
Brown County’s Anna Stogsdill fell to Maddie Santner 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Atheena Doughty and Sophia Gordon lost to Quinn Reynolds and Everly Clark 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
