Mental Health Matters Bartholomew County Initiative to present annual report ‘Better Together’

The Mental Health Matters Bartholomew County Initiative (MHM) invites community members to attend its annual report to the community, “Better Together” on Tuesday, April 30th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Commons.

The MHM team will share information about the current state of our community’s mental health system and new initiatives launched in the past year. Attendees will also hear from the following local leaders regarding their planned initiatives for the coming year:

• Mary Ferdon, Mayor, City of Columbus

• Eric Frey, Executive Director Administration, City of Columbus

• Carl Lienhoop, Commissioner, Bartholomew County

• Judge Jim Worton, Judge Bartholomew County Courts

• Suzanne Koesel, CEO, Centerstone of Indiana

• Jim Bickel, CEO, Columbus Regional Health

• Julia Abedian, Executive VP & Chief Community Impact Officer, Columbus Regional Health

• Dr. Jim Roberts, Superintendent, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp.

• Mark Stewart, President, United Way of Bartholomew County

Initiative leaders will introduce their Health Equity Ambassador Network and will welcome keynote speaker, Amelia Zachary, author of Enough: A Memoir of Mistakes, Mania and Motherhood, who will share a message of hope and encouragement.
