NORTH VERNON — Jennings County won the No. 2 and No. 3 singles spots, but Jeffersonville took the other three positions to pull out a 3-2 girls tennis victory on Thursday.
Kaydence Lowman beat Anellah Trujello 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles, and Mia Silver topped Abi Lemon 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (5-2).
Jennings’ Tatum Brown fell to Eva Ellis 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Sophia Lucas and Jocelyn Valdovinos lost to Claire Stock and Abby Leep 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Gabi Morin and Maddy McIntosh fell to Elizabeth Shearer and Sara Sharp 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
