Eight ducklings reunited with mother after falling into storm drain

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus firefighters from Engine 5 and Columbus Animal Care Services came to the rescue this morning when a duck was in distress after her eight ducklings fell down a storm drain near Chevrolet of Columbus on the west side.
Columbus fire Department said Chevrolet of Columbus employees saw the mother duck circling the storm drain and keeping watch until the rescue team arrived.
All the ducklings were rescued and reconnected with their mother.
