COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies are investigating a single engine plane crash in the 7000 block of West Seymour Road which occurred at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday.
Dispatch advised that both occupants were uninjured and were able to exit the aircraft on their own, Sgt. Dane Duke, sheriff department spokesman, said.
First to arrive on the scene were personnel from Southwest Fire Department who confirmed that there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
At this time the incident remains under investigation in coordination with the FAA and NTSB.
