NASHVILLE — Brown County took its first Western Indiana Conference girls tennis loss of the season Wednesday, a 4-1 setback to Greencastle.
Julia Burt beat Addie Fowler 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (12-4, 3-1).
Brown County’s Anna Stogsdill fell to Allie Landry 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Anna Tipton lost to Maddie Landry 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Ava Kelly and Cady Kemp fell to Sophie Riggle and Bella Monnett 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Atheena Doughty and Sophia Gordon lost to Lauren Dibble and Liberty Amis 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
