Bartholomew County
Columbus Star Quilt Guild — 9:30 a.m. to noon, First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. On May 2, Claudia Lash, a quilter since the 1970s and owner of Presto Avenue Design, will conduct an all-day workshop on her “Subirdia,” a quilted wall hanging. Cost for non-members is $50. Artist Reception — 5 to 7 p.m., 411 Gallery, 411 Sixth St., Columbus. The Columbus Area Arts Council, in partnership with Mental Health Matters, announces an exhibition in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month. “Psyche Relics” by Columbus-based artist Kimberly Rose Free features 2D and 3D artworks that portray Free’s journey through psychiatric treatment over the past three decades.
