Bartholomew County

Columbus Star Quilt Guild — 9:30 a.m. to noon, First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. On May 2, Claudia Lash, a quilter since the 1970s and owner of Presto Avenue Design, will conduct an all-day workshop on her “Subirdia,” a quilted wall hanging. Cost for non-members is $50. Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11 a.m., and 11:05 o 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by after school and join us for some laid-back fun as we play our way through our collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Teen Thursgame — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Every Thursday after school, play games including Dungeon Party, Unstable Unicorns, Wizard Kittens, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Here to Slay, and more.

County Park Board — 4:30 p.m., Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., Columbus.

Artist Reception — 5 to 7 p.m., 411 Gallery, 411 Sixth St., Columbus. The Columbus Area Arts Council, in partnership with Mental Health Matters, announces an exhibition in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month. “Psyche Relics” by Columbus-based artist Kimberly Rose Free features 2D and 3D artworks that portray Free’s journey through psychiatric treatment over the past three decades.
