BRAZIL — Brown County swept the singles matches Friday to claim a 3-2 Western Indiana Conference girls tennis victory at Northview.
Anna Stogsdill beat Martina Southerland 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Anna Tipton topped Myra McQueen 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Julia Burt blanked Chloe Stevens 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (13-4, 4-1).
Brown County’s Ava Kelly and Cady Kemp fell to Samantha Hendricks 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. Atheena Doughty and Ashlynn Mercer lost to Maci Brimberry and Jacie Lee 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
