FLOYDS KNOBS — Class 4A No. 4 Floyd Central handed Columbus East a 14-4, six-inning setback Tuesday in the opening round of the Hoosier Hills Conference baseball tournament.
Marcus Wilkinson went 2 for 3 with a double for the Olympians (6-15), who managed seven hits. Bige Asher had two RBIs.
East will play in a consolation-round game Wednesday at Bedford North Lawrence. Floyd Central will visit Jennings County in the semifinals on Wednesday.
