Barbara Jean (Foust) Kellner, 88, formerly of Seymour passed away on May 2, 2024, at Willow Crossing in Columbus, IN after a long illness. Barbara was born on June 17, 1935, in Rensselaer, IN to Perry and Berta (Fletcher) Foust. She received her associate degree and Registered Nurse Pin from Indiana University – Southeast in 1973. She was a Registered Nurse for Scheck Medical Center until 1983. Later in 1983, Barbara continued her nursing career in the St. Louis, Missouri area until her retirement, and she moved back to the Seymour area in 2018.
Barbara was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, in her free time, she liked to go dining with friends, dancing when she could, decorating her home, and play Euchre.
Barbara is survived by her three sons: Michael (Donna Sue) Kellner, Mark Kellner and Timothy Kellner; four grandchildren: Tori (Ben) Green, Logan (Natasha) Kellner, Jacob Kellner and Ethan (Emily) Kellner; six great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Jack and Ronald Foust.
There will be no services at this time, and cremation will take place pursuant to Barbara’s wishes.
