COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County has the potential for severe weather today and overnight.

Bartholomew County is under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today. The county is split between a Slight Risk (northern half) and an Enhanced Risk (mainly southwest half) for severe weather.

There is an increased threat in severe thunderstorms Wednesday night and an elevated risk of minor flooding.

The time frame is between 5 and 10 p.m. for the most hazardous weather with rainfall lasting into early Thursday morning.

The heavy rain could lead to rapid flooding between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday.
