SHELBYVILLE — Hauser pulled out three-set wins at both doubles spots Thursday to claim a 3-2 Mid-Hoosier Conference girls tennis win at Southwestern (Shelby).
Bella Kilps beat Ella Rice 6-0, 7-5 at No. 1 singles for the Jets (6-7, 3-1). Mattie Foster and Addy Barriger topped Tori Burkhart and Tanna Tatlock 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Abby Manley and Kaycee Ridgley won 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Hauser’s Lydia Jordan fell to Aurora Belton 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles, and Kayden Miller lost 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
