Looking Back – May 9

Walter Kansoriwula, an exchange student from Ghana, graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Ivy Tech Columbus and was selected as one of 37 Ivy Tech students across the state to join the All-Indiana Academic Team.

1999

Hauser scored all eight of their runs in the third inning of their 8-3 win in the first game of their home baseball doubleheader against Greenwood. The Jets used four walks, four hits and one Greenwood error in their big inning, erasing a 2-0 deficit.

1974

Columbus East High School was formally turned over to the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. by Richard Stoner, president of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Building Corp. The dedication address was given by Dr. M.J. Conrad, director of educational administration and facilities at Ohio State University.
