Association plans plant sale

The South Central Indiana Master Gardener Association (SCIMGA) will host its annual Master Gardener Plant Sale on Saturday.

The sale will start at 9 a.m., and close at noon and will be held on the plaza at the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St. Plant Sale Chair Mary Shaffer estimates around 900 plants will be for sale – including perennials, annuals, houseplants, vegetables, and herbs.

Cash, check and credit cards (with a processing fee) will be accepted.

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, the sale will be pushed back to Saturday, May 25.

SCIMGA is the local chapter of Purdue Extension Master Gardeners, and hosts public events and educational sessions throughout the year in the Columbus area.
