Catalyst offers pitch competition

Catalyst Columbus has announced the inaugural Catalyst Pitch Competition, a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas. Applications are due by June 1st, with notifications of selection sent out by June 4th.

This competition is open to businesses based in Bartholomew, Jackson, or Jennings County, with an annual revenue not exceeding $200,000 as of May.

Selected participants will present their pitches in-person at the Columbus Learning Center on June 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event is open to the public, offering a chance for community members to support local startups.

Each company will have five minutes to pitch, followed by a three-minute question and answer session with expert judges.

A suggested format for slides and content will be provided to those selected.

With more than $15,000 in cash prizes sponsored by Indiana Economic Development Corp. and Duke Energy, the Catalyst Pitch Competition aims to propel local businesses toward success.

Winners will be announced the week following the event.
