MADISON — Kowan Gross and Bode Brooks combined on a four-hit shutout Saturday, and Trinity Lutheran advanced to the finals of the Shawe Memorial Sectional with a 12-0, five-inning semifinal win against Henryville.
Nathan Finke went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Cougars (14-11) at the plate. Gross had a double and two RBIs.
Trinity (14-11) will play the Shawe-New Washington winner in the sectional final at 1 p.m. Monday.
