Debra Kathryn Lindemann, 68, of Mulberry, Florida and formerly of Columbus, passed from this life on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3:35 a.m. at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland, Florida.
Mrs. Lindemann was born on July 18, 1955, in Columbus, the daughter of George William and Freda Kathryn Mikesell Wren. On February 5, 1983, she married Robert C. Lindemann. She retired after many years of service where she had been a bus driver for the City of Columbus. One of Mrs. Lindemann’s favorite hobbies was diamond painting. She found enjoyment in a wide variety of craftwork such as crocheting, knitting and sewing. Debra also enjoyed making things for her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Robert C. Lindemann of Mulberry, Florida; daughter, Alicia (James) Hatcher; grandchildren, Corbin Wiles, Michelle Wiles, Montanna Wiles; great grandchildren, Rae-Lynn Wiles, Jace Weed, Coltan Weed, Zayden Weed, Remi Cameron, William Holbrook II, Kensington Wiles, Keegan Tyree, and Carter Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William David Wren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Family and friends may gather for visitation Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at 11:00 a.m. Monday at barkesweaverglick.com.
Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
