2014

Peter, a black miniature pig found by Parkside Elementary School and rescued by Animal Care Services, found a new home with Lyza Shae just outside of Columbus. Shae renamed the pig to Harley.

1999

The Police Athletic League of Columbus hosted a police officer’s ball, which raised money for area children. Those in attendance included working and retired law enforcement officers, public officials and teachers.

1974

A crowd of around 75 people watched the Bartholomew County Veteran’s Foundation Parade and a ceremony at the county courthouse. Marchers in the parade included representatives from the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts, and an Indiana Army National Guard unit.
