A winter weather advisory goes into effect from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. today for Bartholomew County.
Snow accumulations of up to 1 to 2 inches are forecast, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph may reduce visibility below 1/2 mile at times.
The advisory is for portions of central, east central, north central, south central, southeast, and west central Indiana.
Slippery road conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses, are probable and the conditions could impact this evening’s commute.
