
COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Black and Black-Biracial Community celebrated a Umoja “unity” logo unveiling ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St.
Students received a tour of city hall and swag from the Black and Black and Biracial youth program, led by Felicia Garr of the Community Education Coalition.
Students earned 21st Century Scholar Activity credits at the event.
The new logo was introduced, along with jazz music and remarks from city officials and those from the coalition.
