The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office delivered 4,000 pounds of food to be divided between Love Chapel and the Salvation Army, the proceeds from the deputies’ annual Pack-a-Patrol Car effort.

The Pack-a-Patrol-Car event was also the senior project of Genea Martoccia, and is coordinated annually by sheriff’s office employees.

The food was collected from donations from the west-side Walmart and JayC on the west-side over several weekends.

The non-perishable food is traditionally donated as the holiday season as the need increases at the food banks during that time.
