2014

Columbus’ two Christmas trees were lit during ceremonies at City Hall and The Commons, which included cookies, hot chocolate and music. Among those in attendance were the families of the couples who donated the trees.

1999

David Westenberger replaced Pam Clark as the executive director of Foundation for Youth. Westenberger had been the director of the Columbus Youth Camp since 1996.

1974

The second annual Festival of the Trees opened with an exhibit of around 75 nativities from around the world in the Second Storey display area at the Columbus Visitors Center. The nativities were from the collection of Mrs. J. Irwin Miller.
