State police clear accident scene in Jackson County involving spilled engines and transmissions

JACKSON COUNTY — Indiana State Police and first responders cleared an I-65 accident scene in Jackson County after a crash Monday night involving multiple vehicles, which caused numerous engines and transmissions to be spilled on to the northbound lanes.
The scene was cleared by 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, state police said.
Traffic was blocked on the interstate for several hours between the 41 and 46 mile markers with northbound traffic being diverted at the Uniontown exit.
State police did not provide information about any injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
