John Paul Stults, II

John Paul Stults, II, of Columbus, Indiana, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, completed his journey here on Earth on November 30, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on July 6, 1966, in the same town he would lovingly call home his entire life.

Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, John proudly owned and operated Tire Swag Technologies, where his expertise as a tire specialist garnered respect from colleagues and customers alike. His work was not merely a profession but also a platform for his genuine passion for karting and innovation. John’s life was a testament to his love of sports and the adrenaline of racing, his weekends regularly spent at racetracks, casting a line into the water, watching IU sports and spending time with his loyal dog, Dexter.

Surviving to honor John’s memory are his loving father John Paul (Vicki) Stults, Sr.; his devoted sisters, Dawn (Jason) Renner and Wendy Baker; he adored his nephews, Brant (Natasha) Miracle and Ethan Miracle; his cherished great-nieces, Thea and Nora Miracle; alongside his aunt Rachel Wade, uncle Charlie Tays, cousins, Robbin (Donnie Henderson), Randy (Cecelia) Routier, Cliff (Lisa) Stults, Jimmy Stults, Bart and Eddie Pickett and his faithful dog, Dexter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Tays, and his grandparents, Woodrow and Louise Tays, Ed (Hazel) Stults, and Bonnie (Hezekiah) Henderson, cousins, Rick Wade, Regan (Andy) Hoevener and Rhonda Pendleton.

In keeping with the family’s request, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds Community Building with Pastor Marvin Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service that same day.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
