Returning for its 27th year, the annual Empty Bowls event is looking for corporate sponsors for its upcoming 2025 event.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to food pantries and shelters in Columbus. Every sponsor will be thanked on the event placemats and on the media screens, which will display sponsor names and logos during the event, according to a press release.
To participate as a financial sponsor, email your individual or business name, email and your one-time donation amount to Sarah Sanders at sanderss1621@gmail.com. Checks should be made to United Way of Bartholomew County/Empty Bowls and can be mailed to United Way of Bartholomew County, C/O Empty Bowls, 1531 13th Street, Suite 1100, Columbus, IN 47201. Payment can also be made online at www.classy.org/event/empty-bowls/e534694.
The event will be held Saturday, March 15 at Central Middle School from 4 to 6 p.m. If you wish to be involved in ways other than financial sponsorship, please email sanderss1621@gmail.com for more information about food donations and volunteering at the event.
