Ivy Tech Community College Columbus invites prospective students and community members to an info session for its engineering program.

The session will be on Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. on the college’s campus at 4475 Central Ave, Columbus. Prospective students can learn about Ivy Tech’s comprehensive engineering programs, tour the campus, receive application assistance and meet with financial aid staff, college officials say.

During the session, attendees will gain insights into Ivy Tech’s engineering programs and the partnership with Purdue University through the Green2Gold program. This innovative initiative allows Ivy Tech graduates who meet specific admissions requirements to seamlessly transfer to any of 15 different Purdue bachelor’s degrees in engineering, college officials say.

In addition to the Green2Gold program, information will be provided about Ivy Tech’s Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) programs. Both programs are ABET-accredited, ensuring a high standard of education that prepares students for well-paying, high-demand careers. The MET program offers a full transfer to many universities, making it an excellent option for students seeking an affordable pathway to a bachelor’s degree, college officials say.
