Rutan, a sophomore from Columbus North, went 2 for 4 with a home run in Saturday’s 9-5 win over UMass-Lowell. Rutan got the shutout win in the circle, giving up two hits and striking out 10 for the Colonels (6-2) in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Campbell.

Foster collects doubles for Badgers

Kenzie Foster went 1 for 2 with a double for Wisconsin in Friday’s 3-1 loss to Florida Gulf Coast.

Bode shines in Greyhound debut

Austin Bode went 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI in his University of Indianapolis debut Friday in 6-0 win against Lake Erie.

Bode, a redshirt junior from Columbus North, went 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI in Saturday’s 11-9 win in the first game of a doubleheader against Lake Erie. He was 1 for 3 with a three-run homer in the second game of the doubleheader for the Greyhounds (3-0).

Gilley gets no-decision in Hoosier debut

Cole Gilley went 5.1 innings with a no decision in his starting pitching debut for Indiana University on Saturday.

Kyler McIntosh hit a two-run homer, his first of the season, for Alabama State in a 12-8 loss Saturday to Southern Indiana in the first game of a doubleheader.
