IU Columbus softball bounced back from a 19-4 loss in the first game of a River States Conference doubleheader Friday to post its first win of the season in a 5-3 second-game victory against IU Southeast.
Erica Henry threw a six-hitter in the second game. Columbus North graduate Taylor Hadley had two RBIs.

In the opener, Hadley went 2 for 3 with a double, and Gracie Holok had three RBIs. Delanie Bronner, the first of four Crimson Pride pitchers, took the loss.
IU Southeast’s Lillian Mackey, a Columbus North graduate, went 5 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs. Another North grad, Josie Lemmons, went 1 for 4 with an RBI for the Grenadiers (5-5, 1-1).
IUC (1-9, 1-1) has another home doubleheader today when it hosts Midway (Kentucky) beginning at noon at Ceraland.
