DAYTON, Tenn. — The Columbus Christian boys and girls basketball teams both ended their stay in Tennessee with wins Friday at the National Association of Christian Athletes Tournament.
The Crusader girls finished third in the Invitational Division after a 47-36 win against the Bradley Knights from the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area. Paige Harden led Columbus Christian (15-11) with 11 points, while Olivia Wise and Emma Murray each added 10.
The Crusader boys varsity and JV teams squared off against each other in the fifth-place game of the boys Invitational Division. The varsity was victorious 54-34 behind 19 points from Elijah Fields and 16 from Adam Haines.
