MORRISTOWN — Hauser’s boys and girls track teams opened their seasons Tuesday with third-place finishes in a tri meet at Morristown.
Eastern Hancock won the boys meet with 78 points to 47 for Morristown and 30 for the Jets. Eastern Hancock’s girls scored 65 points to 60 for Morristown and 48 for Hauser.
Freshman Addyson Russell was a triple winner for the Jet girls, taking the long jump (15 feet, 8 3/4 inches), 100 meters (13.1 seconds) and 200 (27.3). Luke Bruner won the boys shot put (43-2 3/4) and discus (133-10).
